In this life, usually people who like something sometimes go beyond a hobby. A hobby is a passion for an activity that is done continuously. Some people consider a hobby to be a calling of the soul that must be followed.
Psychologically, people who follow their desires in the form of hobbies are a calling of the soul that must be followed. Looking at the events that are developing, people who follow hobbies, like there is another calling in their daily lives. There is pleasure and peace after they channel whatever their hobby is.
The peace referred to in the context above is a comfort of the soul after the hobby is channeled. In addition, there is a positive motivation that someone gets after the hobby is channeled. Furthermore, related to pleasure, hobbies have helped someone avoid stress and pressure in life.
Hobbies that are owned and pursued by some people come in various forms. Whether they admit it or not, people who follow their inner desires have been kidnapped by time and opportunity. There is something good about it if the hobby they do has many benefits for their lives.

However, the author in this article wants to raise that the hobby of writing that has been pursued so far can actually be used as a long-term investment. In relation to the above, there are life benefits that can be obtained rather than wasting time in vain.

Every job, if done seriously, will definitely get results. There is a philosophy that states that "Results never betray the efforts that have been made". Many people who work as writers have changed the course of life, especially for themselves. After studying and searching on Google, it turns out that all great writers in the world can be great like that, it turns out that they started writing from a hobby. This is apart from the relationship of reading that they are engaged in as the main capital in writing. Starting from a hobby and always diligently making changes to the writing that has been written so as to produce a quality writing. It must be admitted that the journey to success is pioneered with blood and tears. Not to mention the challenges of ridicule and extraordinary insults. If it can be passed with patience and continue to make improvements as part of the effort. This will certainly make writing a hobby and long-term investment in both the world and the hereafter.

When the author published an anthology of poetry for the first time in his life, the author felt pessimistic. Will it be in demand or ridiculed by readers? This is in contrast to reality. Furthermore, thanks to the appreciation received, the author dared to expand his writing horizons starting from writing poetry, moving on to the genre of articles, short stories and essays.
In this genre of writing, the author experienced a little shock, this was influenced by the rather complicated and long form of writing. The author underwent this challenge as part of a hobby, not a burden that had to be released. Almost all of the author's writings related to the genre of short stories, articles, and essays are posted on social media. There are two advantages when a piece of writing is posted on the media, first, getting criticism and suggestions for improving the next writing. While second, as a self-existence for each person that this is the author and this is his work. This does not show arrogance, but rather promotion. In economics it has been stated that "Promotion costs are greater than production costs." In the author's view, social media is the cheapest promotional media in the world. With only a minimal data package, a piece of writing can be taken around the world and read by many people. From this experience, the author began to be known at the Regency/City level and even shifted to the provincial level in Aceh. The author realizes that although it is still at a very standard level. However, investment in writing has begun to approach. Through posts of writing promoted on social media, the author has been invited to various regencies/cities in Aceh to provide training. The training that the author provides is writing scientific articles. The articles are collected and published as a "Teacher's Work Book" with an ISBN. In addition, the author is also often invited to training in writing student books and school tabloids at the district/city and provincial levels for junior high and high school levels.
From these activities, the author has succeeded in guiding and training teachers and students by producing more than 30 book titles in various fields, both literature and non- literature. Furthermore. the author himself has also produced around 10 book titles, both source books and poetry anthologies in the fields of literature and education.
All of the author's books have been uploaded and marketed on Google Play Book with a 70:30% royalty sharing system with Google which publishes on their platform. This is a world investment that generates continuous future profits.
Investment in the Hereafter
Investment in the hereafter related to writing is very easy to do. Every writing produced is always related to information. This information is related to the development of science, both related to religious knowledge and worldly knowledge. There is a phenomenon that is developing in intelligent society that, if intelligent people do not write, the knowledge they have feels in vain. How many intelligent and influential people are there, but have never produced a single work in the form of a book.
All the knowledge they have will be buried along with their bodies being buried Isn't the greatest and most beneficial legacy for the next generation knowledge? Try to pay attention to intelligent people who are knowledgeable and the knowledge is written in the form of books and then read by the next generation, how noble the person is.
In principle, all the knowledge we get from books is the legacy of people who want to share with the next generation. Smart people who don't want to write are arrogant and selfish. They only assume that the knowledge they have is only consumed for themselves.
